Badminton

Kingsbury Sports Club and Avanti House have agreed on a set of measures to ensure safety during this pandemic.

Please see below:

• From now on, please DO NOT state ‘IN’ (on the Whatsapp group) if you have:

1. Returned from overseas travel in the last 14 days (you or another household member)​

2. Had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days

3. Had displayed symptoms of the COVID-19 virus including, persistent cough, fever, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty in breathing or loss of smell or taste in the last 14 days.

If you have show symptoms and carried out a test which has proved to be positive after attending a badminton session please message Krishan or Jayant

Covid-19 Measures

• Sanitise your hands-on arrival, departure and during game time if possible - this will be provided by Kingsbury Sports club

• There might be other groups on site, at the same time so if you would like to wear masks it’s at your discretion.

• Ensure social distancing guidelines are adhered too; anyone not playing on court must remain at least 2 meters from those playing and each other. Benches will be placed accordingly.  

• All players must bring their own equipment they need for the session (including water bottles as the water fountain will be out of use)

• Equipment (shuttles, nets, etc) will be disinfected before/ after use with antibacterial spray

Please respect the measures put in place as failure to comply may result in Avanti terminating our contract and more importantly putting others at risk.
